Larry's Tailgate
Larry may live in Phoenix now, but the native Chicagoan remains a loyal Bears fan, and his menu proves it. He flies Italian beef in from the city to make his tailgate — which he dedicates to the legendary Dick Butkus — that much better. Since Butkus’ passing, Larry has kept the Hall of Famer’s spirit alive, always showcasing his No. 51 collectibles at his tailgate.
“I collect stuff of Dick Butkus. He’s my favorite player, childhood hero. I just love him. He’s a Chicago Bear. He’s the Monsters of the Midway type of guy.”
“Our tailgate is great. I’ve got my wife, my family, friends. This is what it’s all about — gettin’ together, cookin’, tailgatin’, watchin’ your favorite team play football.”

Joe's Tailgate
Joe and his family flew out to Phoenix to join their fellow Chicago-born friends, who now live in Arizona, to bring the good vibes and Bears fandom to the tailgate. Dressed in a Bear costume he purchased for Halloween earlier that week, Joe is a die-hard fan — he had recently traveled back from London where he watched the Bears play across the pond.
“Every time the Bears come out here, family and friends — everybody’s from Chicago — we travel altogether as one pack and represent.”
“I just bring myself, my thirst, my appetite and good company.”
