Week 4

Crystal's Tailgate

Crystal and “Da Real Bears Tailgate” play host to hundreds of fans in the Waldron Deck courtyard each week, bringing the party with a DJ set, rotating food menu and specialty cocktails. With 15 years of tailgating under her belt, Crystal prides her group on bringing the positive vibes and welcoming opposing fans - ones who are open to trash talk, of course.

“What makes our tailgate the best is our people. Without question — our people. We have such a diverse group of folks that come together. They’re just really grateful and I just love the vibe. It’s a really mature Bears crowd. That’s how we roll.”

Welcome to Da Real Bears Tailgate

“We used to be literally right up the stairs on the Waldron Deck. It was too big. Cars couldn’t get through. It was insanity. It’s 200-300 people every Sunday. You won’t even be able to see this grass.”

Week 4

Eduardo's Tailgate

Four years ago, Eduardo and his brothers-in-law started an annual tradition of attending one Bears game a season and tailgating at the Waldron Deck. With a group that has grown to 13 guys who all grew up in the city, Eduardo shows off his renowned chef skills to deliver a pregame meal of Argentinian shrimp, lobster tails and filet mignon.

“It’s an awesome tradition for us to come as brothers-in-law. It all started with us cooking stuff like this. We only really come once a year so when we do it, we go all the way out.”

“All the Bears fans together, the atmosphere, it’s just a good time. It’s all the love in the air — nothing but Bears fans.”
