Kurt & Tim's Tailgate
Longtime co-workers and Season Ticket Holders, Kurt and Tim have been hosting a better than average tailgate every week for more than 25 years. To pull off a tailgate for around 60 people, they arrive in line at Waldron Deck by 6 a.m. and curate a weekly menu based on the opposing team's city.
“It’s the best. This is equally as fun as the game. We’re here at 6 a.m. We’ve got our friends, we’ve got our coworkers, we’ve got our clients. You’re prepping for the big game, then we come out and have fun afterwards as well.” - Kurt
“Every Sunday, I would go to church in the morning and come home to watch the Bears with my dad. First game I can remember going to was against the Vikings and we won 9-7. We would get to one game every few years, so to be able to come every week is a privilege, a dream.” – Tim
Week 1
Bob's Tailgate
A Bears fan since he was six years old — when his dad took him to Shakey’s Pizza on the South Side of Chicago every Sunday — Bob has been tailgating for more than 30 years. Bob paid tribute to Hall of Fame Class of 2024 inductee Steve McMichael with the help of his friends, some of whom fly in from South Carolina each week, in honor of Mongo's ring ceremony at halftime.
“Mongo, oh god, how could you not love Mongo? He should’ve been in the Hall of Fame a long time ago. I’m so happy he is now and I’m so happy he’s still here to see it too.”
“I’m a fanatic, like most of us here."
