Tom & Mike's Tailgate
Tom and Mike have their tailgate “down to a science,” from pulling into the South Lot at 8 a.m., to heading into the stadium by 11:30 a.m., to even purchasing an old ambulance and flipping it into a prime hangout spot. A pair of 12-year Season Ticket Holders, Tom and Mike purchased the vehicle in 2021, decked it out with Bears memorabilia and host over 25 friends, family and colleagues before every game.
“We start texting about our tailgate early in the week about who’s bringing what food. We have a griddle and a grill. We’re doing smashburgers today, pulled pork sliders, some sausages.” - Mike
“We bought the bus to hang out with our friends, and this has been the best investment I’ve ever made, because we get to have a good time with a lot of people every weekend.” - Tom

Grandma Bear also spent her 80th birthday with the Bears and drives in from Iowa for a couple games each season.
“We’re from Illinois and now we live in Iowa. Today, we’ve got my daughter from Texas, a grandson from Louisville, one from Nebraska, Chicago. We just have a good time.”
