I immigrated to this country as a small child, not speaking English and definitely not knowing what American football was. This was the early 80s. Soon our sponsor family introduced me and my dad to the greatest team there ever was, the Chicago Bears. I remember watching the Super Bowl in 85. I remember falling in love with that team at the age of 10. I'm almost 50 and the love grows stronger and stronger every year. I never knew that the sport that Europe didn't even know at that time would become my favorite, absolute favorite sport in the world. I eat, breathe, live the NFL season, and particularly my hometown Chicago Bears. Thank you for giving me so many years of joy and tears and everything in between. I will forever be a die-hard Bears fan.
00:00
It's important to me to always – I actually show my team colors every day of the year, so it doesn't matter whether it's home or on the road, I wear blue and orange every day.
00:00
It means everything. Since I've been a kid, well, you know, 85 is when I really became a fan, but I have so much love. I have so much Bears stuff. I can never change. Till I die, I'm a Bears fan. So I mean, I love them. Hopefully we can turn this around and get us a couple championships.
00:00
You know, it's really the unity that all true Bears fans have. It doesn't matter – I mean, it matters if we're winning and losing, but really, it's like, you are there, You're in it. You're in it for life. You're not in it for like, 'Oh, I win one season, I lose one season.’ You're always a Bears fan.
00:00
To me, a Chicago Bear fan is that 12th man on the field, that ‘may the force be with you’ energy needed to morph the players until the monsters need it to claim victory. It's that ride-or-die loyalty to become and wield the right to Bear Down. It's a Chicago thing.
00:00
I, in 44 years of life, have never missed a kickoff. And I also named my daughter Payton, P-A-Y-T-O-N, and she's 15 and knows all about the Bears. Loves it, Lives it. Eats it. Sleeps it. Breathes it. It's a lifestyle. It's traditions. It comes through the family. My dad was a die-hard fan, had season tickets at Wrigley. I watch every game, never miss it, will never say anything bad about my team. Go Bears.
00:00
I've been a Chicago Bear fan since I was probably 10. I currently live in Atlanta. I fly up here for every home game, so 8 times a year I'm on the plane. So that's a Bears fan.
00:00
It means to keep your spirit going. Go Bears. Never give up on your team no matter what. To be a fan means to be loyal. I'm a die-hard Bears fan till I die. Go Bears.
00:00
It means everything to me, the Bears. I breathe the Bears. I live the Bears. I talk the Bears. That's all I do. I spend my whole life living for the Bears. I love you, Chicago. I love you, the Bears. Go Bears. Bear Down.
00:00
I am the biggest Bear fan because I'm a 45-year-old female. I grew up watching the Bears. I know the Super Bowl Shuffle and I bleed blue and orange. I have socks. I have sweaters, pants, shoes. I even dye my hair blue and orange. My kids buy me blue and orange flowers. I love my team and win, lose, I'm still there and I am a total die hard. The Bears rock. Our colors are awesome. I am Chicago born and raised, and I love you guys.
00:00
I love the tradition of being a Bears fan. I appreciate all the memories I have watching games with my friends and family and all the fun times I've had at the stadium. You know, I live in New York, but Chicago, kind of like watching Bears games, kind of keeps me grounded to the city, connected to the city, connected to my friends and family, and that feeling of home every time I watch.
00:00
It's a lot of pride because of the history of this great organization that started the NFL, you know? So getting a chance to wear that jersey and walk on that field is something that is very special. Being part of the alumni, being a part of the Chicago Bears and obviously that great year we had in 2006, going to the Super Bowl, there's a lot of memories and a lot of great friendships of a lot of great teammates and obviously a great city that backed us this throughout that time. So the history, the community and obviously our fan base is what makes it special.
00:00
Well, obviously everything, because we both have it in our history with our grandfathers, our fathers, ourselves. We love the Bears no matter what. We've been Season Ticket Holders for 20 years now and and yeah, we're loyal.
I was a Bears fan as a little kid. I would watch them in black and white TV and I've loved them ever since. And my dream was to be a Season Ticket Holder, which we were able to accomplish in 2002.
00:00
It is so powerful. Actually looking up here and seeing the words to Bear Down brought emotion to my heart this morning. So it just means everything in my life right now. Chicago Bears, God, Country and my family. I mean, that's what it's about right now.
00:00
Dick Butkus, to me, is the epitome of what a Chicago Bear is and should always be. He's a beloved figure for all Chicago Bears fans and is the Monster of the Midway.
00:00
What does it mean to me to be a Chicago Bear? First of all, it means everything to be a part of something just so great and so rich, all the history behind it, all the great players – Brian Urlacher, Devin Hester, Walter Payton, I mean, the list goes on. So to be a part of something like that, to say you're a fan of something like that, of such a great tradition, is everything. It's everything to be a Chicago Bear.
00:00
As a Bears Season Ticket Holder, I take a lot of pride in the team’s rich winning history, the sense of community among fans and the exciting gameday experiences that come with being a part of a Season Ticket Holder. It's like being a part of one big, fun family. Thank you, Chicago Bears.
00:00
I met this man 20 years ago. We have not missed an opening day together in 20 years. His name is Jeremy Smith, and today we're taking his father and his brother all on the field to hold the American flag, which is amazing.
00:00
What does it mean to me to be a Chicago Bear? Well, it's a sense of pride. It's a sense of accomplishment because a lot of people weren't a Chicago Bear. And it's very few people that got an opportunity to play in the National Football League and to play for the team that started it all, the Chicago Bears.
00:00
It means to never give up. It means to play with your heart. It means to uphold the culture that the Chicago Bears have created. It means the world.
00:00
I served in the Marine Corps for almost 17 years and served in Iraq and Bosnia. My brother here served in Iraq as well, and the Salute to Service means the world to me. Coming to a Bears game, first and foremost with the history of the Bears and everything that it provides, especially considering that we're in Soldier Field where they honor veterans itself, it's an absolute honor to be here.
00:00
Actually, the excitement of seeing not only the Vikings fans, but the camaraderie we have with Bears fans, I think that's really cool. Everyone's all, ‘Go Bears.’
It's just exciting to see new, different stadiums and see your team play in another stadium. Bears fans travel well.
00:00
It’s always good to be a part of the Chicago Bears. Whenever I go back to Chicago, man, it's like I'm still playing there. I mean, the city is so great, man. Everywhere I go, man, I want to still take care of you. It's just a great city to be a part of.
00:00
Watching the game in Cabo San Lucas. From Destin, FL. In Nampa, ID. In Arizona. Ponset, Puerto Rico. In Grand Rapids, MI. In Kansas City. In Northwood, ND. In Orange Beach, AL. Over here in Scotland. Sioux City, IA. In upstate New York. West Boylston, MA. In Louisiana. Melbourne, Australia. Here in Ohio. Goleta, CA. U.S. Bank Stadium. In Oakville, ON. In Greenville, SC. In Kansas. In Lake Jackson, TX. I am in the UK. In Gainesville, GA. In Strasburg, CO. Bear Down!
00:00
To me, being a Chicago Bear means you're representing the City of Broad Shoulders. It means you're strong, honest, hard-working, blue-collared, hard-nosed, and you're giving your all. Even if you're not the best, you're going to work the hardest with your team because you are a Chicago Bear.
00:00
Being a Chicago Bears fan to me is about joining something bigger than myself. Bears fans are one of the biggest, craziest groups in the best way and as a new football fan, it really helps me to learn more about the sport of football. My boyfriend has been a die-hard Bears fan since the day he was born and he's been teaching me so much about the fan base, and I always feel like a family when I come to Soldier Field.
00:00
My football-loving son attended the DJ Moore camp this summer and met DJ Moore. He's an amazing player and what a great experience for my son. Amazing role model for him to look up to. All he's asking for Christmas is a DJ Moore jersey.
00:00
Latino Heritage Month is really important just because that's part of my culture and it's really great to see that it's celebrated in different parts of the community, different events. And as a Chicagoan, just because there's lots of cultures being represented, it is something that just makes me feel more important.
00:00
City of Chicago means the home of the Bears. It's the place where Papa Bear wanted us to play – he made that change back in the 20s. It's home. Chicago is home for the Bears. Chicago is home for many of us. Greatest city in the world.
00:00
So I'm actually currently battling breast cancer. I'm currently in treatment and going through this is an interesting journey, and I think that for people that are lucky enough not to go through it, just being represented in a game ... the impact is that it's reaching people that don't have cancer and it's really creating communications that are going to help me survive and get through this. And so it's just sharing the knowledge, which is great.
00:00
“Estoy en el partido con mi hija porque le encantan los Chicago Bears. El mes de Latino Heritage significa que podemos estar orgullosos de nuestro país y nuestra raza.”
Translation: “I’m at the game with my daughter because she loves the Chicago Bears. Latino Heritage Month means that we can be proud of our country and our people.”

My favorite game day memory at Soldier Field was the first time bringing my wife and our three kids to a Bears game. It started the night before the game, with my kids laying out their jerseys front side down with the player's last name showing on the back. For the first time ever, the actual name on the back of their jersey matched the last name that they've had their whole lives – Fields. Fast forward to the next day – watching them walk into Soldier Field with their last name on the backs of thousands of jerseys, ready to watch their football team, led by a QB with their last name, was priceless. My kids felt like they belonged, they were part of the team. That's what being part of the Chicago Bears family is all about. Bear down.
00:00
Oh, it's in the blood. You represent the greatest city in the world. We have the greatest fans in the world – loyal, passionate, knowledgeable, sensible. And they're following a team that we need to make them proud of.
00:00
What's it mean to be a Chicago Bear? Well, it means everything, honestly, especially from Canada. Not many Bears fans, so I take that with pride. My dad has been a Bears fan. That's how I grew up. I remember Devin Hester taking that touchdown back to start off the Super Bowl, and that's where my love for Chicago football has started.
00:00
I think I became a Bears fan, I was born into it. It was inherited. It was a family tradition, growing up in the suburbs, playing flag football with neighbors and friends. I had a dad who loved football. The Chicago Bears, of course, always growing up around that, you were die-hard. That was the geographics. You were a Bears fan and you stick with the team whether good or bad. I think that's the soul of a Bears fan, you know? We're not fair weather, this is our team. Ride or die.
00:00
So, my father has been a Season Ticket Holder since they played in Wrigley Field before I was born. He passed away this summer. It’s the first year — I got the tickets — and it’s my first year sitting without him. So I am rooting for him and for all Bears fans.
00:00
What it means to be to be a Chicago Bears fan – this has been a lifelong thing since growing up with my father watching the games, and I'm glad I can share this with my wife, who's now getting herself into football as well.
00:00
Every Sunday, me and my whole family get together. They come over to my house and we cook a lot of different foods, a lot of snacks, a lot of chips and dip – my favorite dip being my fianceé's own created, and she named it Dip Butkus. And that's my favorite. But yeah, everybody wears their favorite Bears jersey, you know? Ranging from me – like right now I'm wearing Justin Fields, and then my uncle might be wearing a McMahon or a McMichael, you know? It's pretty cool to see all the different generations of people and who their favorite players were. And we watch the game – win or lose, we root for the Bears, and it's a great, great time every single Sunday spending with the whole family.
00:00
Our whole family dresses in Bears clothing and attends 11:00 Mass at church and then hurries home to make a big pot of chili and all huddle around the TV to watch the Bears game and eat chili and cheer the Bears on to victory.
00:00
I've been a Bears fan since 1973. I have two Bears tattoos. My wife and kids all were in Bears stuff when they were born. We got married in Bears jerseys. My name is Paul Mitchell. Go Bears.
00:00
Most excited to watch DJ Moore. He's lightning in a bottle. DJ MOORE! DJ Moore, baby. DJ Moore. DJ Moore because when him and Justin Fields get together, they create magic. DJ Moore. DJ Moore, Bear Down. DJ Moore because he's going to be the most electric player on the field. DJ Moore. DJ Moore. DJ Moore baby because he's the best.
00:00
So I became a Bears fan because, well, I grew up in a family of Bears fans, but recently became more involved with football, and I play flag football and you guys sponsor us too. But I've always really enjoyed watching the Bears. Normally they have pretty entertaining games and went to my first Bears game last season.
00:00
It means pride. Having your team's back up and down, no matter what they're going through. Gotta have them, baby. Let's get fired up. Bear Down.
00:00
Why did I become a Bears fan? Oh boy. I'm from Ireland originally and we used to get on TV, on a station called Channel 4, a packaged one hour program of American football. And my dad used to watch it every now and again. And I was very, very young, but I remember seeing the 85 Bears, but I remember seeing American football and going ‘What is this? This is not like anything that we have in Ireland. Look at the names of the teams, look at the stadiums. This is amazing.’ And I saw the 85 Bears and I saw Mike Ditka and Jim McMahon and Walter Payton and all these big, huge, larger than life characters. And as soon as I saw them, I went, ‘Dad, I'm a Bears fan,’ and I've been a Bears fan ever since. I moved to the United States of America in 2012. I'm in Holland, Michigan, so I'm only three hours away from Chicago. And of course, it's even more amazing to be closer to the Chicago Bears and go to games now. It's a dream come true.
00:00
I'm excited to see Justin Fields because he's an explosive, electric player. Justin Fields. Go. Justin! Justin Fields. I'm most excited to see Justin Fields. Justin Fields, because we all know why, he's electric! Justin Fields because he's an explosive runner. Justin Fields. I'm excited to see Justin Fields today. Justin Fields, of course, because he is H1M. Justin Fields because I like watching him throw the ball. I like watching him run the ball. Which player are you most excited to watch today and why? Tell us which player. Justin Fields!
00:00
Oh man, it's just coming out here, supporting. Tailgating is the best part. And honestly, just cheering on the players, and honestly, like, being here for Dick Butkus. That's the best player ever in my eyes.
00:00
Being from Chicago area, I've been a lifelong Bears fan since I can remember. But I think what really solidified me as being a Bears fan is when I seen Devin Hester run back a kickoff return in the Super Bowl. That right there was probably the most excited I've ever been in my life. I'll never forget it. Bear Down for life, baby.
00:00
I met my all-time favorite Chicago Bear and my all-time favorite football player in the summer after he retired coming out of a Best Buy with a couple of CDs. Best Buy was in Hoffman Estates. I was going in, he was coming out. It was Walter. Shook hands with Walter, told him how much I missed them. Didn't wash my hand for three days. Love that guy.
00:00
Win or lose, we love ‘em, baby. It's always a rollercoaster ride, but man, we're here for it every time. Been a fan since 84, die hard, win or lose. Bleed blue and orange. I agree with them. It's just win or lose, it's the home team.
00:00
Hi, I'm a new fan of the Bears here. Recently I became a fan the day that you guys brought Tyson Bagent onto the team and gave him the opportunity of a lifetime. So I will remain a fan going forward. Go Bears and go Tyson.
